A careful selection of wood species and finishes make our products and projects unique and beautiful.

MATERIALS

We use natural wood veneers and hardwoods in a variety of species. Some examples of wood species are shared below, but this is just a sampling. The glues we use are NAUF (no added urea formaldehyde), and we prefer materials like Medex for painted projects and Columbia Purebond for cabinet interiors to ensure the healthiest option for clients and the planet.

FINISHES

We spray water borne, low VOC (volatile organic compounds) clear finishes and paints in sheens ranging from matte to satin. Our painted finishes can be custom matched to any color under the rainbow. We also use hand applied oils for certain woods like walnut. On occasion we will stain wood lighter, darker, or somewhere in the middle.

We have partnered with another custom cabinetry company called Plain & Fancy to expand our product offerings.
